The Ecumenical Womens Breakfast group met at the First Presbyterian Church in Louisiana for their last meeting of 2018.
The ladies of Calvary Episcopal Church served as co-hostesses for the breakfast, where there were 15 in attendance representing five churches.
Judy spent time in France this past summer working with a mission team through an organization called BLF, Bible Literature in French. Very few publishers print literature in French and there is nothing printed for Sunday School. BLF finds books that would be helpful for people and their faith, translates and prints them. Judy helped with this project and also worked on a building with the missionary construction team she went to France with.
Judys second summer missionary experience took her to a Retirement Village in Minneola, Florida through an organization called Africa Inland Mission . AIMs Retirement Center provides affordable retirement housing for AIMs retired missionaries.
After her mission work in Florida, and Judy returned home, God spoke to her and laid on her heart to return to the Retirement Village as a Caregiver. Judy encouraged everyone to listen to Gods call in your life.
During the business meeting it was decided to donate proceeds from the breakfast to the local food pantry.
They gather four times a year for breakfast, fellowship and interesting programs.

Out Of Africa And Into Minneola
MINNEOLA Clarence and Marjorie Bainbridge worked hard for 43 years and recently retired to Lake County. But they got more change of scenery than most folks in their situation.
Instead of a busy mission station in Kenya, where they taught at the Bible college, they now live among massive old oaks at the Africa Inland Mission Retired Missionary Center. Across the road is Lake Minneola, along with an eyeful of rolling hills.
At the Park Ridge subdivision next door, Arsenio Rosa Jr. is embarking on a new lifestyle as well. After 20 years with the Pennsylvania State Police, Rosa has a new job selling time shares. He can’t quite see the lake from his new house but dreams of buying a boat so he can get out on the water.
Both developments are relatively new to the city of Minneola – Park Ridge was annexed in late 1994 and the mission center was annexed earlier this year.
The mission center, known as AIM, and Park Ridge exist side by side. The property lines touch and back yards bump up to each other. Although the developments are very different in tone, residents of both were drawn to Minneola for scenery and semi-rural location.
AIM, originally built on donated land in 1938, was designed as a place where those who had spent nearly all their adult lives spreading the gospel could enjoy their golden years, said superintendent Bob Richards.
Now in its 101st year, it sends preachers, teachers, doctors and other missionaries from a variety of countries into 14 African nations.
