I Am/was A Resident Of This Facility

Aspen View is great. So far, it has been nice. It was the first one I visited. I have been here for a month now in a studio apartment. They have all kinds of activities, a game room, a TV room, a computer, and a garden. The food has been good so far, but I don’t eat breakfast all the time. They seem to serve sausages a lot, but I don’t like sausages. I wish they put everything on the menu.

I do not recommend Aspen Meadows AT ALL! Do not send your loved ones there! They have done nothing but treat my mom like she is in jail. She is in there for rehab and they refuse to let her out of her room. They have not given her a shower , no one has washed her clothes so I had to pick them up and wash them, they didn’t provide a walker when she got there until I complained about it , she is not allowed to use the exercise room or walk outside of her room , not to mention they don’t even have rehab on the weekends, she had has to change her own bed, she is not allowed visitors unless you make an appointment and when they can “allow” her to have visitors no touching, 6ft apart, with mask. All because she isn’t vaccinated! I am beyond disgusted with this place!

Rooms are filthy for a healthcare facility. The building smells of urine and feces. Employees smell of stale cigarettes. The kitchen and food is deplorable. Residents look unbathed, clothes were soiled with food, wheel chairs were also covered with old food and crumbs. This place should be shut down as health hazard. People in prison have better amenities than the residents here.
