The Waves of Honor Program provides military personnel and three direct dependents one complimentary admission per year to either SeaWorld®, Busch Gardens® or Sesame Place®.
Service Members and their direct dependents must have a valid Active-Military ID in order to participate. Spouses must log in under the Active-Duty Members account in order to take advantage of the dependent tickets. Military guests must register online, print tickets and visit between Jan. 15 October 31, 2021. Additionally, they offer up to six discounted tickets to Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country USA.

Tickets Will Be Available Online Thru May 15
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. Busch Gardens Williamsburg is thanking American heroes for their service with complimentary one-day admission to the theme park.
Through the Waves of Honor program, U.S. Military Veterans, retirees and Inactive Ready Reservists are eligible for the offer along with three guests.
Founded in 2005, the Waves of Honor program has allowed more than 10 million guests, active-duty military members, veterans and their families to enjoy the theme parks for free.
In order to receive the discount, former service members will need to provide a military ID. You can verify your veteran status by visiting the Busch Gardens website.
Tickets will be available online thru May 15 at wavesofhonor.com and must be redeemed at the theme park by July 10.
Veterans will also be eligible to purchase up to six additional tickets at 50% off, All-Day Dining Deals 4 for $150 and $20 T-shirts online during the promotional period.

Housing Subsidies And Property Tax Discounts
Service members receive a Basic Allowance for Housing, which helps members cover the costs of rental housing near their duty location. The Department of Defense raised overall average military BAH rates across the country substantially from 2021’s average of 2.9% to 5.1% in 2022.
Additionally, military members and veterans who own their homes might be able to save money on property taxes, depending on where they live.
“Many states offer discounts or property tax relief for active military personnel as well as disabled veterans,” said Stuhr Paterson. “Military members are encouraged to contact their local property tax collector to find out what discounts if any apply in their area.”

Busch Gardens Seaworld Offer Free Tickets To Military Members And Veterans
TAMPA, Fla. – Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and SeaWorld Orlando are thanking military members and veterans for their service by offering free one-day admission to their theme parks.
The central Florida theme parks, which are both operated by SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, are offering complimentary tickets through their “Waves of Honor” program. The program gives free one-day admission to active-duty U.S. military personnel and up to three guests.
For a limited time, veterans also qualify for the free ticket offer, and can bring up to three guests as well.
Veterans who wish to take advantage of the offer must first register online. Tickets must be redeemed through the Busch Gardens or SeaWorld websites. Registration ends May 15, 2022, and the free tickets for veterans and their guests must be used before July 10, 2022.
