Camden Springs Senior Community Offers Scratch
This month, the Camden Springs Gracious Retirement Living community is offering a series of scratch-off ticket prizes to new tenants.
Prizes include $1,000 off the second months rent, a flat-screen television, and a service where Camden Springs staff will pack up a tenants belongings and move them into his or her new home, free of charges.
This is the next generation in senior living, Camden Springs new marketing director, Leza Coleman said.
Joining her during the interview was Nutmeg, an Australian Labradoodle who is trained as a therapy dog that works with seniors.
Coleman described Camden Springs services as being between assisted living and independent living apartments. She explained her staff offers there meals a day, weekly housekeeping, utilities, and 24-hour access to staff, but they dont have a nurse.
This is like the next stage if you want to live independently and maybe youre at risk of falling, but you dont have the money for full-assisted living and you dont need a nurse giving the medication and assisting you all day, everyday, Coleman said.
She mentioned her staff also works with long-term care insurance.
Coleman noted that Camden Springs has a large range of monthly rental prices, ranging from $1,695 to a two-bedroom unit of $3,950.
Thats a huge range and it makes it more affordable for the Elk Grovian who doesnt have a million dollar house to sell, she said. Its for that senior who still wants to be independent.
