A Note From The President March 18 2021
Dear Residents, Families and Power of Attorneys,
We are excited to be able to begin opening for visitations. COVID-19 has not gone away but the CDC and the Pennsylvania Department of Health have provided guidance that will help keep all of us safe. In the spirit of maintaining a healthy environment, please remember that not everyone chose to be vaccinated. Additionally, we are not allowed to ask our visitors if they have been vaccinated, so we ask that you honor the 6 foot distancing rule and wear a mask even if you have been vaccinated. Please note that you cannot visit a person if they are in quarantine.
For Independent Living: Your guests are welcome to visit in your apartments or cottages. With an apartment visit, we are requesting your guests utilize our process for a temperature check and COVID-19 assessment. Overall, guests should not visit if they have any signs or symptoms of COVID-19. The CDC and the Pennsylvania Department of Health note that outdoor visits are preferable. Please take advantage of good weather to do so. Finally, please ask your guests to not remain in any public areas but go directly to your home and exit directly to their car when going home.
Please contact the community you wish to visit if you have any questions. We all want to keep COVID out of our communities. Following these directions will help us do so. Together we have been on a long journey. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding!
Sincerely,
