This is a really great place. My first impression was that it is a very luxury place that is budget friendly. The community offers housekeeping, laundry services, meals, basic cable, and utilities that are included in the monthly rate. All the rooms have a kitchenette. The staff are very friendly to work with if there are any questions or concerns that come up. The maintenance team is very helpful. There are pull cords that the residents can pull anytime that they need something, and they have staff 24 hours a day on site.There is drop in care service through a third party that is reasonably priced.

They are very attentive to her needs. They spoke with me and called me to make sure things were going ok with my loved one. If you can do independent care, this is a great place. They have a movie theater, self serve ice cream 24/7. If my loved one needed the help, I would have other family members stay here as well. I do not like the fact that the dining options are not vegan or vegetarian options, or food for people without teeth. The time window to get food when the resident wants would a great update. The snacks where taken away because the facility thought snacks where being hoarded by a few residents in their rooms so it removed snacks for everyone. If they controlled that better so the snacks would come back out would be better. The staff is great.

Columbia Pacific Advisors Spends $288mm To Acquire Julian Estates Retirement Community In Puyallup Wa
On Thursday, January 31st, a retirement community in Puyallup, Washington, sold for $28.8 million, or approximately $222 per square foot, Pierce County records show. The buyer was Columbia Pacific Advisors, a real estate investment company based in Seattle. The seller was Puyallup Retirement Residences LLC based in Ridgefield, Washington, an entity affiliated with Hawthorn Successor LLC. The transaction was recorded on February 5th.
The property, called Julian Estates Retirement Living and located at 13305 94th Ave. in the South Hill neighborhood of Puyallup, is a four-story building constructed in 2017 that totals 129,653 square feet and contains 135 units, according to public documents.
The property offers a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom units with kitchenettes, and some of the community amenities available at Julian Estates include a theater, chapel, library, common areas and exercise room, according to its web site.
The web site also emphasizes the resident-focused approach of the property. We believe that Julian Estates Gracious Retirement Living is so much more than walls and windows, its a place to enjoy home-cooked meals, game night, or a quiet evening with family and friends. Its where you always feel comfortable, safe, and secure.
It is not entirely clear whether the recent purchase of the senior living community in Puyallup is related to the Hawthorn Retirement Group acquisition, though the property is listed on Hawthorn Retirement Groups web site.
