Since the formation of the Benevolent Fund in 1972, the Fund has contributed approximately $5,000,000 to provide safety-net programs to residents of Panorama. These include:
Financial Assistance The primary function of the Benevolent Fund is to provide financial assistance to residents in need so that they can continue living independently at Panorama.
Social Service Advisors These Advisors provide resource information and support services to all Independent Living residents at no cost.
SARA ® Pendants The Fund provides a personal emergency alert pendant to every Independent Living resident. This pendant can be used to notify Urgent Response Aides when there is an emergency.
Quality of Life Programs. The Fund sponsors educational programs including seminars on topics such as dementia, financial trust and charitable giving programs.
