My first impressions of this care center have been bad, due to rudeness and hostility of the greeting staff. The rest of the staff members, especially the professional employees, seem to be caring and efficient.

Don’t put your family here, they give them old molded food and they rude to the people and keep they rooms dirty, I feel sorry for the residents there and their families.
Dietary staff is rude and keeps a hostile environment. There is no organization and definitely no teamwork. Would witness verbal altercations between several staff members.
The assisted living staff at Ridgecrest are the very best. My Mom is on hospice there and every one at the facility from the driver, receptionist, PCTs, nurses and director are extremely kind and compassionate. The regular staff is there on the weekends, not contract staff. My Mom had lived at a few other facilities but never did she get the care and attention that she gets at Ridgecrest. These people are the best!

If I could give less than one star I would.Please Do Not put your loved one here. Mom would not be in her room due to having surgery, I would go in to get her clothes and food wrappers would be in the trash. She roomed alone so no one else was there to eat her food. I brought up larger packages of TP and the next day she would have only one roll. They threw away her new thick towels because she threw up on them. Once when she was really ill and was telling them she was ill and in pain. They brought her food tray and put it on the counter away from her bed and told her she needed to get up and get it. Twice I came in and found a list by the bed of medications, that she was prescribed , and not to give them to her because she didn’t want to take them. One was her heart medication. She had congenital heart failure. She was early dementia and could not make those decisions on her own and they knew that. She kept telling me they were not giving her her meds, then the staff would complain that she was up all hours of the night. If she had been given her dementia medication, she always slept threw the night. She was constantly missing cloths, towels, sheets… Please do not put your loved one in this place ! I was so glad I pulled mom out of here !
